The bank's total assets reached 381.50 billion birr, a 33.3% increase from 286.23 billion birr in the previous year. Total liabilities stood at 341.99 billion birr, while total equity grew 37.0% to 39.51 billion birr.
Customer deposits remained a key growth area for the bank. Total deposits rose 31.1% to 318.79 billion birr, up from 243.18 billion birr. Loans and advances also expanded, increasing 28.8% to 249.00 billion birr.

Gross total income reached 55.24 billion birr, a 41.4% year-on-year increase, while total expenses came in at 39.39 billion birr.
Paid-up capital increased to 17.48 billion birr from 15.00 billion birr, reflecting 16.5% growth. Earnings per share improved to 77% from 50% a year earlier.
The latest results place Bank of Abyssinia among the larger private banks in Ethiopia by asset size. According to Aksion.ET data, the bank's listed shares on the Ethiopian Securities Exchange last traded at 1,785.31 birr, up 0.96% in the most recent session.
